BCF Offers Free Financial Education in Partnership with the National Campaign for Financial Literacy

In a bold step toward empowering underserved communities, the Black Conservative Federation (BCF) is proud to announce its new partnership with the National Campaign for Financial Literacy—a nationwide initiative focused on closing the wealth gap through accessible, no-cost financial education.

This strategic collaboration is designed to address one of the most critical challenges facing Black communities today: the lack of access to reliable, practical financial knowledge. Together, BCF and the National Campaign for Financial Literacy are offering a series of free workshops and educational resources that teach real-world financial strategies—everything from budgeting and debt management to building generational wealth through insurance, investments, and entrepreneurship.

“Financial literacy is freedom,” said Necho Carroll, Vice President of BCF. “It’s not just about money—it’s about mindset, opportunity, and control over your future. By equipping our community with the tools to manage and grow their finances, we’re not just building stronger families—we’re building stronger futures.”

What You Can Expect from the Program:

  • Interactive Workshops led by certified financial educators

  • Topics including personal budgeting, credit building, insurance strategies, and retirement planning

  • One-on-One Coaching for individuals seeking personalized financial strategies

  • Resources in English and Spanish, ensuring inclusivity across diverse communities

This initiative aligns with BCF’s broader mission to foster economic empowerment through education and engagement, ensuring Black Americans are not only represented politically—but economically positioned to thrive.

How to Get Involved: BCF will be hosting workshops in cities across the country, with the first series launching in Atlanta, Dallas, and Jacksonville this summer. Sessions are open to individuals 18 and older and are completely free of charge. Registration is required due to limited capacity.

Let’s shift from financial survival to financial sovereignty. With the right education, our communities can lead, build, and own their futures.
